Argentine-born bassist/composer Pablo Aslan, a top artist in the tango revival, modernizes the sensuous and passionate tango with a program of original compositions, classic and modern tangos, and improvisations. His Avantango ensemble features leading Argentine musicians, dancers and choreographers who appeared in Broadway's Tango Argentino and Forever Tango, Carlos Saura's film Tango and projects with Yo-Yo Ma, Julio Iglesias and Shakira.
