Join the New York City Gay Men’s Chorus as we take a surprising, entertaining and thought provoking musical look at the many faces of our collective obsessions.

HIGH is a provocative, funny and unapologetic show designed to get people talking. The evening's centerpiece is the New York premiere of Michael Shaieb's Through a Glass, Darkly, a 45 minute highly theatrical rock opera about relationships torn apart by crystal meth. Set in recognizable club and bar culture, the show charts the journeys of a central relationship between three gay men and the impact of meth on all their lives. This musically innovative piece with a beautiful score packs a punch. HIGH takes the audience on an emotional roller-coaster, ending on a note of hope, healing, self-realization and renewal.

This boundary breaking evening is part of NYCGMC's mission to use song to bring light and discussion to issues that affect our entire community.

Join us for a thirty minute talk-back after the show with a few organizations that are leading the way on awareness and prevention.
