The Joffrey Ballet School, a world renowned ballet training center holds its annual 2010 Spring Performance featuring the dancing of students enrolled in the Young Dancer Program and Trainee Program.
Classic works such as Gerald Arpino’s Kettentanz will be presented by arrangement with The Gerald Arpino Foundation, as well as the Grand Pas Classique. The program will also include World Premieres by Chung, Proia, Bour and Etter, as well as other repertory works.
Located in New York City’s Greenwich Village, The Joffrey Ballet School was founded in 1953 by Robert Joffrey and Gerald Arpino to develop and train professional dancers. The School continues to strive for the founders’ vision of dance based on rigorous classical training that is imbued with a sense of movement, clarity and exuberant energy.
